There’s a statue of Jesus and a little island made of rocks just by the beach. The beach continues for a long stretch of sand.

This was a hike along Capo Carbonara. It’s possible to make a loop instead of coming back on the same trail. The trails could really benefit from having a preferred walking direction, because they are very narrow and surrounded by thorny plants.

This was a nice, nearly empty, beach. Note that there’s a bit of waves and the water gets deep quickly.

It’s a pretty large archeological site, with the added interest that you can see the archeologists excavating and measuring.

It was a nice beach, but you have to book in advance and pay to enter the beach, pay for parking, buy a mat to put under your beach towel… and then it’s still very crowded even with the limited access.

Great for snorkeling because of rocky bottom.
